E-Classroom has two surfaces: a web portal where teachers and students do their day-to-day work, and the administrator views where reference data and every classroom record are managed. This page shows how both are laid out and what each role can reach.

The Portal

The portal opens at /classroom. It is the main surface for teachers and students, and it adapts to who you are: a teacher sees editing controls, a student sees their own work. When you open a classroom, everything is scoped to that class through its code in the address. The pages you will use:
You must be signed in to use the portal. If you open a classroom link while signed out, you are sent to the sign-in page first and returned to that link once you sign in.

The Administrator Views

Administrators work from the standard Bizaxl list views rather than the portal. There is no separate dashboard: each record type has its own list you can open, search, and filter:
  • Classrooms, Sections, Sessions, Attendance
  • Assignments and Assignment Submissions
  • Activities and Activity Types
  • Resources and Recordings
  • Grade Schemes and student Grade Snapshots
  • Settings: Google Integration Settings and Portal Branding
Use these views for configuration, bulk review, and audit. Reference data (activity types and grade schemes) is maintained here.

Who Can See What

Your role decides which surface you land on and what you can change.
The teaching role exists under two names on some deployments: Teacher and Instructor. The permissions that let a teacher edit their classroom are attached to one of them. If a teacher can open a classroom but cannot edit it, ask your administrator to confirm which teaching role their account holds and to align the two.
Recordings are private to a class: a student only ever sees recordings for classrooms they are enrolled in, even if they reach a recording list directly.

Shared Platform Basics

E-Classroom sits on the Bizaxl platform and the base application (BAS). For sign-in, your profile, notifications, and general navigation, see the shared guides:
