The Building Blocks
Classroom
The central record. Links to LMS programmes, courses, and a batch; holds the roster, the teaching team, and the grade scheme; carries a lifecycle status.
Roster
The list of students enrolled in a classroom. Managed directly or backfilled from the linked batch.
Sections and Activities
Sections order the classroom into units. Activities (lessons, quizzes, assignments) live inside sections.
Sessions and Attendance
Scheduled class meetings, each with an online meeting link, and a present/absent/late/excused record per student.
Assignments
Work issued to the class, collected back as student submissions with attachments.
Question Bank and Quizzes
A reusable pool of questions and the quizzes assembled from them.
Proctoring
In-browser monitoring of quiz attempts: camera and screen consent, anomaly detection, and a per-student review of snapshots and recordings.
Grading
A weighted grade scheme plus a live grade snapshot per student, and gradebook exports.
Recordings
Captured session recordings, pulled in automatically from the online meeting.
How the Pieces Connect
The grade snapshot is the hub of the system: attendance, assignments, and quizzes all feed it, and the grade scheme decides how they are weighted.Capability Reference
Automation You Do Not Have to Manage
Several things happen on their own so a teacher does not have to:- Meeting links attach to scheduled sessions automatically.
- Recordings are pulled in after a session finishes, moving from processing to ready.
- Grades recompute the moment attendance, an assignment, or a quiz result changes, and again on a nightly full pass.
- Sessions for recurring classes are generated ahead of time.
