The Admissions Pipeline
Before You Start
Before running an admission round, ensure:- Academic Year exists in the system (required for Student Admission records)
- Programme records are set up (students apply to a specific programme)
- If using the online application form, your institution’s website must link to the admissions page
Key Records in Admissions
Student Admission - The overarching intake record. You create one per programme, per intake round. It defines when applications are open and can publish an application form on your website. Student Applicant - One record per applicant. Created either by the applicant themselves (online) or by staff (manual entry). Holds all the applicant’s details and moves through a status workflow (Applied → Approved → Admitted). In This Section
