1. Patient Registration
   Role: Receptionist
   → Create or locate patient record

2. Appointment Booking
   Role: Receptionist
   → Book appointment (type: Consultation)
   → SMS confirmation sent automatically

3. Vital Signs Recording
   Role: Nursing User
   → Record blood pressure, temperature, weight before the consultation

4. Patient Encounter (Consultation)
   Role: Healthcare Practitioner
   → Record presenting complaint, examination findings, diagnosis
   → Order any investigations (scans or blood tests)

5. Investigation Orders
   Role: System / Receptionist
   → For ordered scans: book a Scanning appointment or create Clinical Procedure
   → For ordered tests: book a Lab Test appointment or create Lab Test record

6. Billing
   Role: Receptionist / Finance
   → Create Patient Invoice for the consultation fee
   → Add any ordered investigations to the same invoice

   → Create or locate patient record
   → Record the referral doctor name if referred

2. Appointment Booking
   Role: Receptionist
   → Book appointment (type: Scanning)
   → Select scan type and assign service unit (scan room)
   → SMS confirmation sent automatically

3. Pre-Scan Preparation
   Role: Nursing User
   → Record vital signs
   → Complete nursing checklist (MRI safety screening, consent, contrast allergy check)
   → Set up consumables (contrast dye, IV cannula, gel, PPE)

4. Scan Procedure
   Role: Nursing User / Radiology Technician
   → Open the Clinical Procedure record
   → Perform the scan
   → Attach the result image using the Result Image field
   → Set status to Completed

5. Report Review
   Role: Healthcare Practitioner (Radiologist)
   → Review the attached scan images
   → Add clinical findings and interpretation
   → Prepare or contribute to Diagnostic Report

6. Billing
   Role: Receptionist / Finance
   → Create Patient Invoice for the scan fee
   → CT: ₹10,000 / MRI: ₹15,000 / USG: ₹1,500 / X-Ray: ₹2,000

   → Create or locate patient record

2. Appointment Booking
   Role: Receptionist
   → Book appointment (type: Lab Test)
   → Select test type (H1B1, Hemoglobin, or other)
   → SMS confirmation sent automatically

3. Sample Collection
   Role: Laboratory User
   → Collect the blood sample from the patient
   → Create a Sample Collection record (records who collected, when, sample type)
   → Mark status as "Collected"
   → Send sample to lab

4. Sample Processing
   Role: Laboratory User
   → Receive and process sample in the lab
   → Update Sample Collection status to "Received"
   → Enter results into the Lab Test record
   → Attach result image (if applicable - e.g., gel strip scan)

5. Result Approval
   Role: LabTest Approver
   → Review the entered results
   → Approve the Lab Test record to finalise results
   → System sends SMS notification to patient after approval

6. Diagnostic Report
   Role: Healthcare Practitioner
   → Compile lab results and clinical context into a Diagnostic Report
   → Share report with patient and referring doctor

7. Billing
   Role: Receptionist / Finance
   → Create Patient Invoice for the test fee
