Who Works in Logistics & Transportation
Common Business Challenges
Real-time shipment visibility. Customers expect to know where their goods are at every stage. Without real-time tracking data linked to the operational system, customer service teams spend hours on the phone chasing manual updates. Proof of delivery management. Disputes over whether goods were delivered, in what condition, and to whom are among the most common issues in logistics. Without structured POD collection - signatures, photos, timestamps - disputes are difficult to resolve. Fleet utilisation and maintenance. Vehicles are expensive assets. Running them without maintenance schedules leads to breakdowns. Running them below capacity erodes margins. Tracking both requires data that is rarely captured systematically in smaller operations. Freight billing accuracy. Logistics billing is complex - distance, weight, volume, fuel surcharges, waiting time, and accessorial charges all factor in. Calculating these manually on each shipment invites errors that either undercharge customers or create disputes. Route and load optimisation. Sending a half-empty vehicle when a full load was available, or routing a vehicle inefficiently, directly impacts the cost per delivery. Without data on loads, routes, and vehicle capacity, optimisation is guesswork. Driver and regulatory compliance. Drivers must hold valid licences. Vehicles must pass inspections. Routes through certain areas require permits. Managing compliance for a fleet of drivers and vehicles manually is a significant administrative burden. How Bizaxl Supports Logistics & Transportation
