# Reports Overview
> Every report available in the Bizaxl Manufacturing product — what each report shows, who uses it, and where to find it.
This page documents every report, dashboard chart, and number card available in the Manufacturing product. Use it to understand what data is available to you and which report answers which business question.

## Manufacturing Reports
All manufacturing reports are accessible from the **Manufacturing** workspace under the **Reports** card, and from the shortcut bar.
### Production Planning Report
**What it answers:** Do I have enough raw materials to fulfil my open work orders?
This report lists every open work order, the raw materials it requires, the quantity available in stock, and the shortfall. Use it before a production run to identify which materials need to be purchased or transferred.
**Who uses it:** Planning Team, Store Keeper, Production Manager
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Production Planning Report, or Manufacturing workspace shortcut bar

### Work Order Summary
**What it answers:** What is the status of all my work orders right now?
This report shows every work order with its status (Draft, Not Started, In Process, Completed, Stopped), the quantity planned, the quantity manufactured to date, and the planned start and end dates.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Management
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Work Order Summary

### Work Orders in Progress
**What it answers:** Which work orders are currently being manufactured?
Filters to only In Process work orders, showing what is actively on the floor at this moment.
**Who uses it:** Production Supervisor, Production Manager

### Open Work Orders
**What it answers:** Which work orders have been authorised but not yet started?
Shows all Not Started work orders so you can review the production queue and prioritise.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Supervisor

### Completed Work Orders
**What it answers:** What did we finish producing this period?
Lists completed work orders with actual quantities produced, start dates, and end dates.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Finance

### Production Analytics
**What it answers:** How much have we produced over time and what is the trend?
A trend chart and table showing production volumes by item and time period. Useful for performance reviews and forecasting.
**Who uses it:** Management, Production Manager
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Production Analytics

### Job Card Summary
**What it answers:** How are individual production operations performing in terms of time and completion?
Shows every job card with the workstation, operation, planned time, actual time logged, and completion status. Identifies bottleneck operations that consistently exceed their planned time.
**Who uses it:** Production Supervisor, Production Manager
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Job Card Summary

### Work Order Consumed Materials
**What it answers:** How much raw material was actually consumed in each work order, compared to what was planned?
Compares planned material quantities from the BOM to actual quantities issued. Highlights over-consumption and under-consumption by item.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Finance, Quality Control

### BOM Stock Report
**What it answers:** If I want to manufacture a specific quantity of an item, do I have all the raw materials in stock?
Enter an item and quantity, and the report checks each raw material against current stock to confirm availability or flag shortfalls.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Store Keeper, Planning Team

### BOM Operations Time
**What it answers:** How much total time does each BOM require across all its operations?
Shows the planned time for each operation in each BOM. Useful for capacity planning and quoting production lead times.
**Who uses it:** Production Engineer, Planning Team

### BOM Search
**What it answers:** Which BOMs use a specific raw material or component?
Search by item to find every BOM that includes it. Critical when a component becomes unavailable or needs to be substituted.
**Who uses it:** Design Engineer, Procurement, Production Manager

### Process Loss Report
**What it answers:** How much material was recorded as lost or scrapped during production?
Shows process loss quantities by work order and item, compared to the planned loss allowance in the BOM. Identifies items or processes with abnormally high waste.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Quality Control, Finance

### Downtime Analysis
**What it answers:** Which machines are stopping most frequently, for how long, and for what reasons?
Summarises downtime entries by workstation, reason, and time period. Identifies chronic problem machines and helps prioritise maintenance investments.
**Who uses it:** Maintenance Manager, Production Manager
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Downtime Analysis

### Quality Inspection Summary
**What it answers:** How many inspections passed and how many failed, broken down by item or type?
Provides a summary of all quality inspection results over a period, grouped by item, inspection type, or result. Helps track quality performance trends.
**Who uses it:** Quality Manager, Production Manager
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace → Reports card → Quality Inspection Summary

### Exponential Smoothing Forecasting
**What it answers:** Based on past sales, how much should I plan to produce next month?
Applies statistical forecasting to historical Sales Order data to project future demand. Output is used to drive production plans when you do not have confirmed sales orders.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Planning Team
**Where to find it:** Manufacturing workspace shortcut bar → Forecasting

### Work Order Stock Report
**What it answers:** What is the stock position for all items involved in a specific work order?
Shows raw material balances and finished goods positions for the items linked to a work order.
**Who uses it:** Production Planner, Store Keeper

### Issued Items Against Work Order
**What it answers:** What materials have been issued to each work order to date?
Tracks all stock entries made against work orders to show cumulative material consumption.
**Who uses it:** Store Keeper, Production Supervisor

### BOM Variance Report
**What it answers:** Where does actual material consumption differ from what the BOM specifies?
Compares actual stock entries for work orders against the BOM-defined quantities. Highlights systematic over- or under-consumption that may indicate a BOM error.
**Who uses it:** Design Engineer, Quality Control, Finance

### Production Plan Summary
**What it answers:** What is the progress of each production plan against planned quantities?
Shows each production plan with total planned quantities, work orders created, and quantities produced to date.
**Who uses it:** Production Manager, Planning Team

### Cost of Poor Quality Report
**What it answers:** What is the cost of defects and rework in production?
Aggregates the cost of corrective job cards (rework operations) to quantify the financial impact of quality failures.
**Who uses it:** Quality Manager, Finance, Management

## Dashboard Charts
Dashboard charts appear in the Manufacturing workspace and give a visual summary of production health. Access the full Manufacturing dashboard from the shortcut bar.

## Number Cards
Number cards appear at the top of the Manufacturing workspace dashboard and update in real time.

## Stock Reports
These reports are available in the **Stock** workspace and are relevant to manufacturing operations.

| **Stock Balance** | Current quantity and value of every item in every warehouse |
| **Stock Ledger** | Full transaction history for any item — every receipt, issue, and transfer |
| **Stock Projected Qty** | Future stock levels taking into account open purchase orders and sales orders |
| **Stock Ageing** | How long items have been sitting in each warehouse (identifies slow-moving stock) |
| **Item Shortage Report** | Items where current stock is below the reorder level |
| **Batch-Wise Balance History** | Stock history broken down by batch number |

## Procurement Reports
Available in the **Buying** workspace.

Available in the **GST India** workspace and **Accounting** workspace.
